TERMS, SHIPPING & COMPLIANCE
The terms that govern purchases and services from Elyx Tactical, plus how shipping, returns and firearms compliance work.

These terms apply to your use of this website and to any purchase or service you obtain from Elyx Tactical. By placing an order or booking a service, you agree to them.
ELIGIBILITY AND AGE REQUIREMENTS
You must be legally eligible to purchase and possess the items you order, and you must meet all federal, state and local age requirements. You may not purchase from us if you are prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition under federal or state law. Placing an order on behalf of someone who could not lawfully buy it themselves – a straw purchase – is a federal crime. We report suspected straw purchases and refuse the sale.
FIREARM SALES AND FFL TRANSFERS
Serialized firearms ship only to a licensed FFL dealer, never directly to a private individual. You are responsible for nominating a dealer who has agreed to receive the transfer, and we verify their license with them before shipping. The receiving dealer completes ATF Form 4473 and runs a background check before releasing the firearm. If your check is denied or you are otherwise unable to complete the transfer, the firearm returns to us and we refund the purchase price less a 20 percent restocking fee and the cost of shipping in both directions. Any transfer fee already charged by the receiving dealer is payable to them and cannot be refunded by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any sale at our sole discretion.
SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS
We do not ship any merchandise to California, New York, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Chicago or Puerto Rico. Many other jurisdictions restrict specific items. See the shipping and sales restrictions page for details. It is your responsibility to know what is legal where you live.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY AND PRICING
Our catalog reflects live distributor inventory, but stock can change between the moment you add an item and the moment your order is processed. If something becomes unavailable we contact you with the option to wait, substitute or cancel for a full refund. Prices are subject to change without notice, and in the event of an obvious pricing or description error we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and refund you in full rather than honor a mistake.
SHIPPING
Orders placed before 2pm ET on a business day are processed the same day and usually leave within one business day. Ground shipping is free on orders over $199; below that, live carrier rates apply. Ammunition ships ground only and cannot be delivered to a Post Office Box, nor can third-party drop-shipped items or firearms. Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii require freight forwarding. Risk of loss passes on delivery to the carrier, and damaged or missing shipments must be reported within 5 days so we can file a claim.
RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS
All sales are final. We do not accept returns and do not issue refunds. Every product we sell is covered by the manufacturer warranty, and that warranty is your remedy for any defect in materials or workmanship. Serialized firearms cannot be returned once transferred – inspect the firearm carefully at your dealer before accepting it, because once you take possession the manufacturer warranty is your only remedy. Ammunition, primers and powder cannot be returned for safety reasons. Special orders and custom builds cannot be canceled once parts have been ordered on your approval. The limited exceptions – a denied or failed transfer, an item damaged in transit or shipped in error, and a fraudulent transaction – are set out in full in our refund and returns policy.
GUNSMITHING AND CUSTOM WORK
All bench work is quoted before it begins. If we find additional problems once work has started we stop and contact you rather than adding to the invoice. Parts for any build must either be ordered through this website and shipped to us, or supplied by you. Customer-supplied parts are inspected before fitting and we may decline to install a part we consider out of spec or unsafe. Firearms left with us are covered by our care while on the premises, but we are not liable for pre-existing wear or defects. Items not collected within 90 days of completion, after written notice, may be disposed of in accordance with Tennessee law to recover unpaid charges.
WARRANTIES
Manufactured goods carry the manufacturer warranty, which we will help you claim against. Our own labour is warranted against defects in workmanship for 90 days. Except as expressly stated, goods are supplied without further warranty and all implied warranties are disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by law.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order or service is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Firearms are inherently dangerous and you assume all responsibility for the safe handling, storage, transport and lawful use of anything you buy from us.
COMPLIANCE
We operate under a Federal Firearms License issued by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and comply with applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Tennessee. Export of controlled items outside the United States is prohibited without the required licenses, and we do not export.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Elyx Tactical name, cobra emblem, site content and photography are our property or used under license, and may not be reproduced without written permission.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Knox County, Tennessee.
