PRIVACY POLICY
How Elyx Tactical collects, uses and protects your information – including the records we are required by law to keep.

Elyx Tactical (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you use our website, buy from us, or use our gunsmithing, transfer and manufacturing services, and what we do with it.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect information you give us directly and a limited amount of technical information collected automatically: contact details when you inquire, book or order; order information including the licensed dealer you nominate for a transfer; payment information processed by our provider (we do not store full card numbers); identification and eligibility information required to complete a firearm transfer; and standard web analytics such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.
FIREARMS TRANSACTIONS AND REQUIRED RECORDS
Firearm sales and transfers are regulated. To complete one we are legally required to collect and retain certain information, including the details recorded on ATF Form 4473 and in our bound acquisition and disposition record. These records are retained for the periods required by federal law and made available to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on lawful request or inspection. Background checks are submitted to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System and, where applicable, the relevant Tennessee state agency. We do not use information collected for regulatory purposes for marketing.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
To process, fulfill and ship your orders and arrange transfers with your chosen dealer; to schedule appointments and communicate about work in progress; to respond to inquiries and quotes; to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations; to send marketing email where you have asked for it; and to detect fraud and protect the security of our website.
MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
If you sign up for drop alerts or deal notifications, we will email you about restocks, price changes and offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. It does not stop transactional messages about an order or appointment you have with us.
COOKIES AND ANALYTICS
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart contents, remember preferences and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site – the cart in particular – may stop working correctly if you do.
SHARING YOUR INFORMATION
We share information only where necessary: with shipping carriers to deliver your order; with payment processors to take payment securely; with the licensed dealer you nominate to complete a transfer; with distributors where an item ships directly from their warehouse; and with government agencies where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade mailing lists.
DATA SECURITY
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission of payment and order data and restricted access to regulatory records. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your data seriously and review our practices regularly.
YOUR CHOICES
You can ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy, ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, ask us to delete marketing information, and opt out of marketing at any time. Records we are legally required to retain for firearm transactions cannot be deleted on request, as retaining them is a legal obligation rather than a choice.
CHILDREN
Our website and services are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and our products may only be purchased by those who meet all applicable age and eligibility requirements.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be highlighted on the site.
