ORDERS & SHIPPING
GETTING YOUR ORDER
Orders placed before 2pm ET on a business day are processed the same day and typically leave within one business day. You get tracking by email as soon as the label is created.
We ship to most states, but some products are restricted by state or local law – magazine capacity, certain rifle configurations and ammunition delivery all vary. We do not ship to California, New York, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Chicago or Puerto Rico at all.
If something in your cart cannot be shipped to your address, we contact you before charging the card rather than cancelling silently. See the shipping and sales restrictions page for the full list.
Ground shipping is free on orders over $199. Below that, live carrier rates are calculated at checkout. Ammunition ships ground only and may carry a surcharge depending on quantity.
Yes – choose local pickup and we book you an appointment time in Knoxville. There is no charge for pickup, and it is the fastest way to get a serialized item since it skips the transfer step entirely.
TRANSFERS
FFL TRANSFERS & BACKGROUND CHECKS
$35 for a single firearm and $15 for each additional firearm on the same shipment. We do not handle private party transfers. Rates are published on the services page and do not change at pickup.
Contact us before the seller ships. We send our license directly to them and confirm the shipping details. Packages that arrive without prior arrangement can slow things down considerably.
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing your current address. If the address on your ID is out of date, bring a supporting document that shows where you currently live.
We hold the firearm securely and call you the moment it clears. Delays are handled by the FBI NICS system, not by us – we cannot speed one up, but we keep you informed and do not charge storage while a check is pending.
Fourteen days at no charge. After that, storage is $10 per week. If you need longer, just tell us – we are reasonable when you communicate.
THE BENCH
GUNSMITHING & CUSTOM BUILDS
Straightforward jobs – optic mounts, trigger installs, detail cleans – are usually done within the week. Repairs that need a part ordered depend on distributor availability, and we give you a realistic date rather than an optimistic one.
Always. You get a firm price before anything is disassembled. If we open it up and find something worse than expected, work stops and we call you – we never add to an invoice without approval.
Of course. Where it came from does not matter. Bring it in and we assess it the same way we would assess our own.
Yes. Parts must either be ordered through this website and shipped to us, or supplied by you directly – those are the only two routes. Labour is billed at the published rate, and we inspect anything you supply before fitting it and tell you if we think it is out of spec.
Assembly labour on a standard AR build is $125. Beyond that you are paying for the components themselves – and parts must either be ordered through this website and shipped to us, or supplied by you. We give you a full itemised cost to approve before anything is ordered.
Yes, and the serialization and record-keeping that goes with it is handled in house to the letter of the regulations. Bring it in and we walk you through what is required before any work starts.
APPOINTMENTS
BOOKING & HOURS
Because it is a better experience. You get an actual time slot and undivided attention instead of waiting behind a queue, and we are not trying to run a bench and a counter at the same time.
Call, email, or send the contact form with what you need and a couple of times that suit you. We confirm and send you the address details.
Appointments run Monday through Saturday, including evenings where we can. Online orders are processed daily regardless of appointment availability.
